HOW WE MOVE
WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS
01
We kick things off by warming up our bodies and following along to a fun, high-energy hip-hop track.
02
Next, we transition into light stretching and low-impact movements to prepare for the rest of class.
03
Dancers will learn foundational hip-hop techniques and practice them together across the floor.
04
A short choreographed routine is taught step-by-step, with each 8-count broken down clearly. The instructor models movements at a slower pace before gradually building up to full speed.
04
We’ll review and connect everything learned, giving dancers time to practice independently—ending with an optional chance to perform and showcase their routine!
WHO, WHAT, WEAR?
DANCER'S ETIQUTTE
We strongly encourage dancers to use the restroom before or after class to help reduce distractions and minimize interruptions to the class. If you must excuse yourself, please wait until there is a pause in instruction or designated break which can be very beneficial to the instructor and students in class.
WHAT TO BRING
Don't forget your water bottle! Staying hydrated is extremely important as a dancer; we will make sure to allow time for water breaks throughout class AND you may always grab your beverage at any time. I encourage you to bring or wear clothing items that you can layer due to temperature fluctuations, weather changes, and comfort! Don't forget to bring your Open mind, Open-heart, and Super fun attitude!!
WHAT TO WEAR
Sneakers, high-tops, and tennis shoes are best! Comfortable clothing that really expresses your style and brings out your personality is most encouraged! It may also be beneficial to bring layers if you get too hot or cold. You can also experiment with your style when you incorporate different layered items and fun accessories~ Be creative. Be comfortable. Be you!
